Effect of Diet & Sodium Intake on Serum Uric Acid

Conclusion: The DASH diet lowered serum UA, and this effect was greater among participants with hyperuricemia. Moreover, low sodium intake increased serum UA, which enhances our knowledge of urate pathophysiology and risk factors for hyperuricemia. Note: This study does have limitations, which are discussed in the full article.
