RheumPAC Champions Recognized

Election Day 2018 has come and gone, and a new class of legislators will be joining the ranks of Congress in January. RheumPAC is the most important tool we have to establish relationships with our new legislators and this year, our ACR volunteer leaders stepped up and matched all donations to RheumPAC leading up to Election Day. They gave an extra $94 for every contribution from a previous RheumPAC donor and $155 for every contribution from a first-time donor. This means even the most modest donations made an impact on our ability to introduce the ACR/ARHP to the 116th Congress.

Fittingly, 128 members invested $31,166 in RheumPAC between the beginning of the match period, Oct. 1, and midnight on Election Day. As a result, RheumPAC collected nearly $14,000 from our leaders who joined the match campaign and brings the 2018 RheumPAC total to date to nearly $140,000. A huge thank you to these champions of RheumPAC:
