2019 RheumPAC Matching Campaign Donors Recognized

From the College  |  December 5, 2019

The ACR would like to thank all members who donated to RheumPAC during this year’s matching campaign, which raised nearly $25,000 from members and another $11,500 from volunteer leaders who made a pledge for each donor.

RheumPAC is a key component in accomplishing legislative successes in Washington, D.C. It is our chance to take part in the political process and make our collective voice heard by supporting legislators who understand and are sympathetic to the issues we face. Every dollar raised goes directly to the campaigns of key people in Congress who are currently advocating on behalf of rheumatologists and rheumatology interprofessional team members, and our issues.

There is still time to give. Help ACR close out the year strong, meet our 2019 goals and increase the strength of rheumatology’s voice by going online and supporting RheumPAC today.

We also would like to take this opportunity to thank our champions of RheumPAC, who stepped up to the plate and matched a total of $91 for each donation from an existing donor and $152 for each first-time donor. This allowed for even the smallest contributions to have an enormous impact on advancing our advocacy efforts. With a total of 124 contributions from members during our November matching campaign, we were able to raise a total of $36,500 in one month. Thanks again to everyone who donated, with a special thanks to the individuals below:
