Advocacy Opportunities Abound at ACR Convergence

From the College  |  October 5, 2025

At ACR Convergence 2025, the ACR advocacy team will be hosting a slate of programming to help you understand the power of advocacy and prepare you to add your voice in support of the rheumatology community. If you have any questions, get in touch with our team at [email protected].

Calling all Fellows in Training (FITs)

Attending FIT programming on Friday, Oct. 24? Stop by the RheumPAC Lounge from 11 a.m.–12 p.m. to grab coffee and a snack on us and learn a bit more about how the ACR’s advocacy efforts are supporting you through your training and beyond.

RheumPAC is also pleased to offer our annual donor lounge to our supporters. Open starting Oct. 24, the lounge is a great place to chat with ACR staff, grab a quick snack or beverage, or sit down and relax for a bit.

Scavenger Hunt

Advocacy is a multi-step process, and it’s important to understand all the moving parts involved to become an effective advocate. To make this easier, we’ve turned it into a game. Game cards will be available at registration and in the RheumPAC Longue. The first 10 attendees to complete the Scavenger Hunt will win a trip to attend the 2026 Advocates for Arthritis conference in Washington, D.C.

Advocacy in the ACR Hub

Writing letters to policymakers and meeting with them to discuss legislation is a key part of the advocacy ecosystem, but there’s more to the story. Stop by the advocacy booth at the ACR Hub to sign on to a letter to the editor. We’ll take care of writing the article and placing it in your local paper—all you have to do is stop by and sign up.
