Coming Soon: Rheumatology Physician & Faculty Survey

From the College  |  September 23, 2025

As part of the ACR’s ongoing commitment to support our members and advance the field of rheumatology, we are conducting a 2025 Rheumatology Physician and Faculty Survey in partnership with ECG Management Consultants. This important initiative aims to gather insights into trends across academic and private practice rheumatology.

This week, all rheumatology physicians and academic PhD rheumatology researchers in the United States will receive an invitation to participate in the survey. The invitation email will come from [email protected] on behalf of the ACR.

Why Your Participation Matters

Individual responses to the survey are blinded, offering a secure and confidential opportunity to share individual data. ECG will aggregate responses into a comprehensive summary report, available to participants in early 2026. Your input will help:

  • Benchmark the data collected against peers nationwide, with insights into regional and practice-type variations;
  • Strengthen ACR’s advocacy efforts by contributing to aggregate data that helps to support improved reimbursement and funding for rheumatology; and
  • Inform future ACR initiatives by helping us better understand academic and practice management needs.

Sign Up to Receive Rheumatology Leader Survey

In addition to the Physician and Faculty Survey mentioned above, ECG will also conduct the 2025 Rheumatology Leader Survey in early- to mid-October, to be completed by rheumatology practice managers. The Leader Survey will gather blinded comprehensive data to better understand the vital issues involved in running rheumatology private practices. Practice managers who participate will receive a summary report in early 2026.
