Large Language Models in Medicine: The potential to reduce workloads, leverage the EMR for better communication & more

Despite the advantages, the legal concerns surrounding LLMs cannot be ignored. Currently, very little law directly addresses this new age of large language models. However, with the recent release of a proposed federal bill, it is clear these concerns are beginning to be addressed. As the use of LLMs in medicine continues to evolve, it will be important to establish clear guidelines and regulations to ensure their responsible use and prevent any potential harm.
