Open Now: New Federal Loan Repayment Program for Pediatric Rheumatologists

After a nearly decade-long fight for program funding, the ACR is thrilled to share that the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is launching information sessions and opening applications for the Pediatric Specialty Loan Repayment Program.

This program offers loan assistance of up to $100,000 to eligible pediatric medical subspecialists in exchange for a three-year, full-time service commitment at an approved facility in an underserved area.

Pediatric rheumatologists are encouraged to apply.

Practices that received Provider Relief Funds between April 10–June 30, 2020, and did not file a report may request to submit a late report and avoid having funds recouped.
