There are no established standards for treatment of neurosarcoidosis. Currently, the first-line standard of care is glucocorticosteroids, “despite the lack of conclusive data,” Dr. Sweiss advised. “DMARDs and TNF inhibitors are safe and effective, but remain investigational.”
