Dr. Chira, a pediatric rheumatologist at Rady Children’s Hospital and a faculty member at U.C. San Diego, will discuss advances in the management of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and has been in practice for 18 years.

Maura Iversen, PT, MPH, DPT, SD, FAPTA, FNAP, is professor and chair of the Department of Physical Therapy, Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences at Northeastern University, a behavioral scientist in the division of rheumatology, immunology, and allergy at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and a lecturer at Harvard Medical School, Boston. She was recently named a Catherine Worthingham Fellow—the highest honor from the American Physical Therapy Association.
