A Glimpse into the Life of New ACR President, Dr. Sharad Lakhanpal

Carol Patton  |  November 30, 2016

Looking Back, Forging Ahead
Although dedicated to his career, Dr. Lakhanpal has always carved out time for fun. In his younger days, he played college basketball, raised three children with his wife, Rashmi, ran a full marathon in under three hours and visited all seven wonders of the world.

One of his most cherished memories occurred years ago while working in a hospital in Dallas. He received a thank you note from Mother Teresa of Calcutta (Now St. Teresa) for caring for one of her hospitalized nuns.
