The ACR thanks all members who donated to RheumPAC this year. These contributions enable the ACR to educate key legislators and their staffs about the important issues rheumatologists and rheumatology professionals face. Every dollar raised goes directly to the re-election campaigns of legislative leaders in our field to help those who best understand our issues remain in Congress.

RheumPAC leaders are proud of what we have been able to accomplish this year, but we still need your help to meet our 2019 goals and close out the year strong. Log in today to see if you have given yet this year or if you have matched your contribution total from 2018. We appreciate everyone’s continued support; even the smallest contribution helps in the fight to make our voice and the voices of our patients heard in Washington, D.C.

The first weeks of the new year are a critical time for the College’s legislative priorities. In January, our advocacy team will be working to make the imminent surprise billing legislation workable for rheumatologists, as well as a win for patients. Securing Department of Defense research funding specifically for arthritis is also a priority in 2020, and the window for that request closes in the first quarter of the year.

Donate today to help ensure the ACR has a seat at the table for the important discussions to come on Capitol Hill.

Thanks again to all of our 2019 donors, especially our RheumPAC champions. Your support has been critical to the implementation of the ACR’s advocacy efforts.

If you have trouble accessing the site, want to know how much you have given this year or have any other questions, reach out to Dan Redinger, the ACR manager of advocacy & political affairs.

Contributions to RheumPAC are used for political purposes and are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes. All contributions to RheumPAC are voluntary and must be made with personal funds. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Any proposed contribution amounts are merely suggestions; you may choose to contribute more or less or not at all. RheumPAC will not favor or disadvantage anyone by reason of the amount contributed or the decision not to contribute. Federal law prohibits contributions from corporations. RheumPAC participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens.
