New Patient- & Provider-Focused Resources Focus on Improving Lupus Care

Allison Plitman, MPA  |  October 6, 2025

A newly developed Lupus Quality Measures Implementation Guide will help providers adopt the new measures. This guide aims to support providers in successful implementation of the new measures in practice through concise summaries of the measures, copies of recommended patient-reported outcome tools with detailed scoring instructions, and best practices for integrating them into routine clinical care.

Projects such as LEAP and the upcoming lupus quality measures demonstrate the ACR’s commitment to advancing rheumatology by translating member expertise and passion into resources that improve both provider practice and patient outcomes. Ultimately, these and other ongoing initiatives seek to advance the ACR’s mission of empowering rheumatology professionals to excel in their specialty.
