Physicians are privileged to be able to provide care. Few events in life are more gratifying than diagnosing and successfully treating a patient. But I think that I have discovered something that does compare favorably to delivering patient care. Watching my 2-year-old grandson hold and “read” Eleanor and Geraldine is a very special sensation. And I hope one day he has children and grandchildren who will read it as well.
