Stay Current on Coding Guidelines with ACR Lunch-and-Learns

From the College  |  February 25, 2025

One of the most effective ways to ensure providers stay up to date and aware of the ever-changing coding and billing guidelines is through continuous training and professional development with the ACR Lunch-and-Learn series. These sessions offer a convenient and engaging way for rheumatology providers and their staff to stay current on crucial topics, such as the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) changes to telemedicine code sets, G2211 coding updates, evolving HIPAA guidelines, evaluation and management (E/M) coding and billing strategies.

The Importance of Training

The one-hour ACR Lunch-and-Learn sessions provide a structured but informal setting where practices can gain valuable insights without disrupting their daily schedules. With increasing complexities in healthcare regulations and technology, the sessions are tailored to the needs of the individual practices to ensure all staff are in alignment and knowledgeable about any issues that may affect billing procedures, claim denials or administrative efficiency. Continuous training helps your team stay proactive, informed and compliant to keep ahead of industry changes and optimize practice operations.
