For our future educational needs, I anticipate the amazing online rheumatology products and sessions that will be developed through the ARHP’s newly created 2009 E-learning Subcommittee. Web education is the future, and I’m glad the ACR/ARHP priority is to bring more of it to you and me—with a goal of offering AMA PRA Category 1 Credits for all future eligible educational offerings. This will certainly increase my professional development without any time away from the office.
Information and technology overload can be overwhelming. But powerful and useful information and technology are invaluable. Through the services and offerings of the ACR and the ARHP, I am able to manage many of the tasks and projects I would have normally had to travel to accomplish, and this frees up time and money for me to enjoy the pleasures of life—without my computer, cell phone, or BlackBerry at my side.
