SLE Patients May Not Receive Enough Cardiovascular Disease Assessment & Treatment

Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is associated with high rates of cardiovascular disease. However, research has shown that aggressive risk assessment with lipid screenings and treatment with statins may be suboptimal for these patients.
